Inventory Structure

When it comes to product management the first thought that arrives in our mind is Inventory management. For effortless management, we require a strong base for inventory. This is where our solution plays an important role where you will need to link company codes with respective warehouses. You would also need to mention the different plants(Production Units), Storage locations(Different locations situated in a warehouse) and also any other mobile storage locations if required by the system user. Once you add all these basic required details for the management of inventory the product moves, pickings, inventory valuation, and operations in the inventory will be streamed and can be accessed very quickly and efficiently by the system user. 

Product Master Configuration

When it comes to product configuration we can manage every single minute detail of the product which can be helpful to the ERP system end user. We can configure the product master with information such as serialized or non-serialized, removal strategy of the product(FIFO, LIFO), Barcode of the product, an minimum inventory level of a product, Purchase Lead times from vendors, a unit of measure defined by the vendor, batch number (with an expiration date, best before time, removal time, and alert time for user), special product codes can be mentioned which are used by the vendors, Manage bill of Material to manufacture that product.

We can also get reports based upon all these details such as standard value or moving average value against this product data.

Payroll and Slips Management

Payroll is the biggest part of any HR module as the workforce is getting all their payments from the payroll as per their allowances and deductions. Our SmartCity ERP System allows different employees with different contacts to be managed in a single payroll module. As we know that there are different scales managed and there are multiple inclusions and exclusions in the payment, HR person has to manage all those details on a page or every time they have to check for every employee. 

A feature to generate payslips in bulk is also provided so that an HR person can create payslips in a single click for multiple employees. The whole payroll is directly connected to Accounting so all the entries are also affected at the company level and that is something which helps the senior management to manage HR & Payroll things in the easiest way possible.

Stock Management Parameters

-We can directly convert two different units of measure i.e. if the vendor's UOM is different from the UOM of the Retailer then in that case odoo directly converts and give the Unit of Measure to the end user. So the time which is consumed by the end user to convert the UOM can be used where it will be needed.

-We will need to configure the material requirements planning parameters which will give assurance to the end user that material and components will be available when needed, also minimized inventory levels, reduced customer lead time, and optimise inventory management. All these parameters will finally help in overall customer satisfaction.

-We can also define different types of stocks such as unrestricted stocks, quality stocks or reserved stocks based on the requirement of the user.

Warehouse Functionalities

Our system helps you to manage Incoming Shipments(Receipts), Interwarehouse Transfer, Product issuance (against requisition, manufacturing orders, projects and consumption), Generate a picking list to efficiently manage day-to-day warehouse transactions, Printing necessary documents in a predefined format(i.e. Delivery Orders, Barcodes, Product Details), Quality Inspection when the product arrives at Receipts, Barcode scanning for products, import/export of excel or CSV file for inventory valuation, Scrapping of products. 

Inventory Valuation

This system will allow the inventory valuation based on the moving average value or standard price of the product which will be based upon the configuration done on the product master. One more conducive feature is that our system allows us to split valuation for batch-managed materials.

We can also manage the month-end processing of the inventory valuation at a single click, Generation of the count sheet, defining cycle count frequency, and approval for stock adjustment with just a single click. 

Reporting

It is crucial to monitor every inventory operation and hence separate reports for different inventory operations i.e. Stock ​ Overview report, Reorder Point and Forecast reports Material transaction register, Damaged Stock report, Material ageing report, Stock expiry report, physical inventory variance report, stock value and ABC analysis report and non-moving items report.
